Yrless Plus is locally owned and operated internet company based in Southland, covering most of Southland and much of Otago. We offer a family-friendly working environment, and are dedicated to providing world-class internet to homes and businesses throughout the lower South Island, from the city to the farm... and everywhere in-between.

 Due to business growth, we are looking for an experienced, highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a receptionist/administrator based in our Gore office. This role supports all day-to-day requirements to keep the business operating efficiently and effectively. The role also involves providing reception services for co-located computer servicing business Grassroots IT.

 You will join a busy, technically proficient team where no two days will be the same. You will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the business, as well as contributing your own skills and experience to the team. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective administrative support across a range of office functions.
  • Provide friendly, efficient reception services for Grassroots IT.
  • Provide effective support to field staff and develop an appreciation of the technical aspects of Yrless Plus.
  • Work as a collaborative and adaptable team member of a growing business.
  • Provide key support to the Yrless Director.

 This role requires an individual with experience in managing and prioritising work and using their initiative. You will also possess the following attributes:

 

  • Customer focused, professional and friendly
  • 2-3 years proven experience in an office administration role, where you have exercised a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly for data entry tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and self-manage your workload
  • A team player with a willing ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Organised and methodical, with a flair for administration
  • Active contributor to a positive team culture, and confident to speak up
  • Advanced user of the Microsoft suite and the ability to adapt to and implement new systems and software.

 Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software would be an advantage but not essential.

 Knowledge and/or experience within the Telecommunications Sector would be an advantage but again not essential.
